Living the Dream at Stadium Place

One of the great things about Stadium Place is the community that’s formed among the people who live here.  It’s our pleasure to host events that bring everyone together.

We recently treated our residents to a night of luxury in our most coveted penthouse home in The Wave. Residents and friends sipped champagne and delighted in hors d’oeuvres and desserts while taking in the stunning city views. We wanted to make our residents feel like a million bucks as they enjoyed a one in a million view!

Penthouse Preview

Our friends from E. Smith Mercantile converted The Nolo lobby into a cocktail lounge perfect for hosting a Stadium Place cocktail hour. The famous cocktail crafters previewed their fall and winter cocktails as well as their scrumptious food pairings. It was the perfect way to welcome our residents home after a long day at work.

Lady 12 Fashion Show

What a night! In support of The 12 Foundation The Nolo rooftop served as a sky-high runway to showcase some amazing fan fashion.

The rooftop deck at The Nolo was transformed with lights and live music to showcase the glitz and glamour of Lady 12 apparel. This was the first fashion show for the line that is developed by Brendalyn and Joe Tafoya.  You may remember Joe from his days playing for the Hawks and his appearance in the first Super Bowl.  The runway also featured men’s fashion from current Seahawk Luke Willson’s Stormtech clothing line.

VIP seating lined the runway as local celebrities showed off this season’s hottest clothing designs! The breathtaking view from the rooftop was the perfect backdrop for the photographers waiting at the end of the runway capturing every step!

Pre-Season Tailgate

Its football pre-season! OK, we know it’s not the real deal yet.  But we’re talking about the Hawks here so we get excited when they hit the field.  And this is the time for our beloved Hawks to get ready for the quickly approaching season…and for us to bring back our awesome Stadium Place game day parties!

Not to brag but we were in regular season form for the first Seahawks pre-season game with our tailgate bash! The weather wasn’t a problem for us, residents enjoyed the game in the comfort of the Stadium Lounge with an amazing view of CenturyLink Field!  Of course a tailgate isn’t complete without delicious food…and lots of it! Our tables were stacked with piping hot pizzas and all the fixings for tasty cheesesteak sandwiches.

Helping Out the Hood: Pioneer Square Spring Clean

It’s Spring clean time! Or at least it was a couple of weekends ago in Pioneer Square. Something we absolutely love here at Stadium Place is being part of our neighborhood, whether that’s by partnering with local businesses, promoting local vendors or joining a good cause in the neighborhood. Which is why when we heard that Alliance for Pioneer Square was putting on their annual Pioneer Square Spring Clean, our team could not pass up the opportunity to roll up our sleeves and help out again this year!

Easy Tips to Refresh Your Apartment for 2015

Join a gym, eat more vegetables, get a promotion…paint the living room? The beginning of a new year often centers on changes and improvements, but typically the focus is on ourselves—our health, our relationships, our jobs. When writing our list of resolutions, we tend to forget one of the most important parts of ourselves: our homes.

Regardless of whether we have a good day or a bad day, our home is where we spend our time. The environment we live in is critical to our success, so why not give the apartment a few updates this year? Try these “home improvements” to start 2015 feeling fresh, recharged, and ready to take on your resolutions.

Move it around
One of the easiest, quickest ways to change your environment is rearranging your furniture. Maybe try a new angle for your bed, move your couches around or try creating feng shui in your living room.

Update the color
It may be time to try a new color on your walls—look into fun removable wallpaper, find a new paint shade or create an accent wall. Pick a color or design that will give you energy.

Add some new pops of color
If you’re not ready for new colors on your wall, add pops of color where you can. Adding a new rug, bringing in some exotic plants, or finding fun throws and pillows are easy color additions.

Change the little details
If you’re looking for even smaller changes, find the little details in your apartment. Replace the knobs on your dressers or kitchen cabinets, find new prints for your wall decor, or swap in new photos for your frames.

Expand the space
Similar to adding new details, you can update your apartment by removing details to create space. End the year by de-cluttering unnecessary items or collecting donations for your local Goodwill. You can also expand the space in your rooms with new mirrors.

Give it an upgrade
If you really want to up the ante this year, add some fun tech and home products to improve your productivity. Easy gadgets include a Broom Groomer to help you clean, a Smart Dashboard to stay up-to-date, a Space Bar Monitor to organize your desk, and an Over-the-Door Drying Rack to maximize space.

Raise The Stadium Place 12th Man Flag

We have a new tradition at Stadium Place that we think every Seahawks fan is going to love. As you know, we fly a GIGANTIC 12 flag over The Wave on game days. So what better way to celebrate Stadium Place than have one of our residents to raise our flag for us?

Last week we gave the honor to our very first residents at The Nolo. This week, in honor of Veteran’s Day, we invited team member Kevin Black to raise the flag.

Who will be next?

Stadium Place Takes the Ice Bucket Challenge

Well, we were just a touch disappointed that Coach Carroll didn’t look our way when he took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

But then our residents called us out, which was even more fun.

So we headed up to The Nolo’s rooftop deck, filled up our buckets, and took an ice bath on behalf of ALS Research.

Stadium Place ALS Ice Bucket Challenge 2

Stadium Place ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has now raised a staggering $88.5 Million. That’s the equivalent of EVERY woman, man, child and baby in the United States throwing about a quarter in a bucket. Simply amazing.

So if you see one of our friendly folks in the halls or lobby, let them know you’re proud of them for taking the plunge. Without further ado…
