What are locals saying?
I gush whenever I speak about this wonderful bakery and everything it offers. The jammers, croissants, and turnovers are so unbelievably flaky and perfect, I know of no other bakery with the quality and consistency as this one. Of course you can’t beat the ambience in Grand Central’s Pioneer Square location. It’s in a building with 20-foot ceilings and a fireplace seating, if you’re lucky to snag it.

Potato flour is a lighter flour than wheat, hence yielding a spongier, less dense loaf. I may never go back to wheat loaf bread again. via Nora C. on Yelp

The Sounders & Mike “The Gasman” Gastineau Visit Stadium Place!

We love our location in Pioneer Square. Not only are we close to a variety of great dining, transportation and shopping options, but are also located in the heart of game day action for our favorite Seattle sports teams.

Last week, we hosted a very special event. Mike “The Gasman” Gastineau stopped by The Nolo for a book signing of his new book Sounders FC: Authentic Masterpiece. And who else stopped by? Our very own beloved Sounders! We loved getting to know Lamar Neagle, Andy Rose and Leo Gonzalez and the fans in attendance couldn’t wait to pose for a photo!

Stadium Place - Seattle Soudnders

“Gas is currently promoting his new book, Sounders FC: Authentic Masterpiece, which profiles the unlikely and inspiring story of Seattle Sounders FC, the most successful sports franchise launch in American history.”

Mike, Lamar, Andy, and Leo signed books and merchandise for fans as we raised a pint and enjoyed tasty bites to eat. Fans both big and small loved chatting with the players and hearing first hand stories about favorite match days.

We love the eggnog lattes at Zeitgeist. Head on down and prepare to be amazed.

It’s hard to find a legit coffee shop that doesn’t charge for wifi and has a genuine atmosphere. Zeitgeist is one of those rare places…

A friend of mine discovered it, and we immediately made it our place to go in the weekend mornings for some coffee before walking around Seattle. Their hot chocolate is amazing, along with a mocha or an eggnog latte–when they’re in season. 🙂 I always try and get a pink donut with coconut frosting. Mmm…so delish, especsh when you can dip it in your coffee. via Lindsey R.

This place is so awesome because it’s like a kitchen with a cash register!! We met the owner, Aaron, and he was super nice to us and we experienced some wonderful flavors of chocolate. Aaron comes across as the type of guy you’d totally like to hang out and drink a pint with. He makes you feel like friends within seconds of meeting him. The chocolate was incredible, and you can tell that he loves his craft. Definitely a wonderful place to experience!!
