In Our Backyard – Paul McCartney Live!

We love Pioneer Square. The neighborhood is home to great restaurants, quaint boutiques, and so many fun events.  In fact, you could even say there is something fun happening eight days a week…

Last Friday, our neighbor Safeco Field played home to an event that will surely not be forgotten : Paul McCartney Live!

The show was incredible and filled with many of our favorite Beatles songs. It was a night of great music and we felt lucky to host such a legend in our own backyard .

From Rolling Stone:

Paul McCartney’s Out There tour stop in Seattle tapped deep into the local roots on Friday night when the surviving members of Nirvana joined in on the encore. Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear first took the stage at Safeco Field for “Cut Me Some Slack,” the song they first united with McCartney on last year for the 12-12-12 benefit concert and Grohl’s Sound City documentary. They went on to play a generous handful of Beatles favorites, including “Get Back,” the Little Richard cover “Long Tall Sally,” “Helter Skelter” and set-closer “The End.”

Here are a few shots from the show:

The Nolo at Stadium Place – A Construction Update

We are getting really excited for the opening of The Nolo and many of our future residents are now picking out their new apartment homes. Our leasing office is up and running and Megan and Nicole would love to have you drop by for a tour. Just give them a call at 206.209.2200.

Construction is right on schedule and we expect to be moving residents into The Nolo in early September and The Wave will open next spring. It is so exciting to see these beautiful new buildings come together.

Here are a few shots of the The Nolo and it’s array of amenities.

The view from the rooftop deck at The Nolo – wow!

Our leasing team is loving the view too. Here they are taking in the scenery.

We can’t get enough of this exposed brick at The Nolo. Here is a shot of the building from outside and inside the lobby.

How would you like to cook in this kitchen while you check out the amazing view of the stadium!
